Raised on the east side of the Detroit suburbs, he graduated from Center Line High School before attending Michigan State University for his undergraduate studies and earning his medical degree from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. His postgraduate training included an internship through the Henry Ford Health System, followed by residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and a fellowship in Pain Medicine at the University of Michigan. Dr. Farhat is board-certified in both Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine. Dr. Farhat believes that effective care extends beyond simply treating symptoms.
